We Offer Telehealth
Welcome to our new Telemedicine portal! At The Animal Clinic, we are dedicated to providing you with high quality veterinary medicine, even while maintaining social distancing. Think of this as your first point of contact with our veterinarians. You can contact us through text messaging for simple concerns, phone consults for more complex issues, and video consults for the closest approximation of an in clinic appointment. Through this portal you can upload images, audio clips or video clips and we can determine the best next step for your pet. We may ask you to act as our hands, eyes or ears, and palpate your animal, or take additional photos or videos. At the end of the telemedicine consult, we can make recommendations, prescribe appropriate medication, which we can deliver to you, or we may request that we see your pet for an in person exam (this “telemedicine recheck” exam would be invoiced separately, at a reduced rate).

About The Animal Clinic
The Animal Clinic was founded in the early 1970s by Dr. John Reeve-Newson. For over 40 years, we have been providing personalized veterinary care to Toronto’s dogs and cats, and their human companions. We have always been proud to offer preventive and wellness care, assessment of health concerns, emergency services, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography and ultrasound. We are now also pleased to offer Telemedicine as a vital component of your pet’s care.
We are a CVO (College of Veterinarians of Ontario) accredited facility.

Sign-Up
Get started with our platform by clicking the ‘Register’ button in the top right corner. There is no fee to sign-up!
Schedule Appointment
Once in the application, select your preferred communication channel (video, phone, or message) and select an available time slot. For messages, a time slot is not needed and our experts typically respond in one business day.
Communicate with your Expert
Our unique communication system provides a high quality video chat with an expert within the browser on your phone or desktop, no app install required! If you don`t have camera, our experts will call you on the phone!
